Super Gou has a SG2 Micro-Carbide powder stainless steel cutting core with a super hardness of HRC63 on the Rockwell scale. The knives in the series have an impressive 161-layer blade with a splendid Damascus steel pattern and its Japanese name engraved on both the blade and on the grip end.
