The Opinel Traditional Atelier No 08 knife is ideal for outdoor activities and sports. It is also practical and efficient for everyday small crafts and sewing. With a handle made of hand-crafted varnished Finnish birch wood and a polished 12C27 stainless steel blade. The handle is made of natural French Walnut wood with an additional piece of African Ebony and each knife has a unique edge. The two woods are separated by a maple tree. With Virobloc safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple but effective locking system greatly improved the original capability of the knife. It prevents the blade from opening when closed and also prevents it from closing when open. Available in paper packaging. For limited edition collectors!!!
